Favorite Dessert Recipes

Apple
Cranberry Crisp
Serves
4
Filling
3 cups
Cortland Apples, peeled, cored and wedged
1 cup
Cranberries, stemmed
1/3 cup Brown
Sugar
1 Tbsp. Honey
1 tsp.
Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
1 squeeze
Lemon Juice
Topping
1/2 cup Flour
1/2 cup Brown
Sugar
1/2 cup
Rolled Oats
1 stick
Melted Butter
1 Tbsp.
Orange Zest
1 tsp.
Cinnamon
1 tsp. Nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease a 8x8 inch
baking
dish. For the filling combine all of the ingredients except the
cranberries in a bowl and combine. Add the cranberries and fold them
in. For the topping combine all of the ingredients except the butter
and mix well. Add the butter and combine. Place the filling into the
prepared dish and flatten out, being careful not to damage the fruit.
Sprinkle the topping over the filling. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until
the topping is browned. Remove from the oven and cool. Serve with your
favorite ice cream.
