Favorite Appetizer Recipes

Spinach and Crab Stuffed Mushrooms
Serves 4-6
4 oz. Butter
1/2 cup Crab Meat
1 lb. Button Mushrooms, medium sized
6 oz. Baby Spinach
1 tsp. Garlic, minced
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tsp. Thyme
1 Tbsp. White Wine
2 cups unseasoned Bread Crumbs
Salt and Pepper to taste
Core the mushrooms and discard stems. Heat a
sauté pan and melt the butter. Quickly sauté the crab,
spinach and garlic. Remove from heat. In a bowl place all of the
ingredients except mushrooms and mix well. If stuffing is to dry add
some wine. Heap the mushrooms with stuffing and place on a sheet pan.
Bake at 350° for 15-20 minutes or until the center of the stuffing
is hot and the mushrooms are cooked.
