Warm Asian Slaw Serves 4
1 cup Napa Cabbage 1 cup Purple Cabbage 1 cup Carrot, peeled and julienne 1/2 cup Bean Sprouts
Dressing Ingredients
1 Tbsp. Honey 1 tsp. Ginger, minced 1 tsp. Garlic, minced 2 Tbsp. Mirin 1/4 cup Rice Wine Vinegar 1 tsp. Dry Mustard 2 Tbsp. Soy Sauce 3/4 cup Olive Oil 2 tsp. Sesame Oil 2 Tbsp. Black Sesame Seeds
Place
all of the dressing ingredients EXCEPT oil and sesame seeds in blender
or food processor. While blending slowly drizzle in oil to form
emulsification. After all oil is added, remove from blender and add
sesame seeds.
To make the slaw mix cabbage and carrots thoroughly in bowl. Slowly warm them in a sauté pan. Add enough Slaw Dressing to coat and season with salt and pepper to taste. Hold in a warm place until scallops are ready.
